Noor ul-Islam Academy (NIA)

BMECC established Noor ul-Islam Academy (NIA) in July 2017 and currently offering after-school Quran and Islamic Studies classes; Saturday thru Thursday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. We currently have approximately 150 students. NIA has four instructors who pay close attention to the student's progress to ensure high-quality learning experience for all the students.

NIA classes use Noora'ni Quaida for beginners and focus on recitation of Quran, memorization, and understanding of the holy Quran and the Islamic teaching. Part of the program includes reading and discussion of chapters from Islamic Studies textbooks.

Fall classes are offered from July to December and Spring classes are from January to May. Although the program accepts new students throughout the program, students are encouraged and highly recommended to enroll during open enrollment in July for the fall semester and December for the spring semester.
